UN Peacekeeping Force – 2009

With Resolution 1836 (2008), the Security Council extended the mandate of the UNMIL until September 2009. As of August 2009, there were 135 military observers, 82 civilian staff members, 9,970 troops and 488 civilian police officers.¹
