Regional Peacekeeping Force – 2016

As of December 2016, the UNOCI mission included a total of 2,175 African experts, police, and contingent troops. The largest African contributors were Senegal (752), Niger (672), and Togo (343).[1]

Regional Peacekeeping Force – 2017

The United Nations peacekeeping mission was withdrawn June 30, 2017, consistent with Security Council Resolution 2284.[1][2]

Internally Displaced Persons – 2016

No further developments observed. As of March 31, 2016, approximately 300,000 internally displaced persons remain in Côte d’Ivoire. [1]
