Dispute Resolution Committee – 2009

The CPA provides for the freedom of movement of the UN Monitors throughout the Ceasefire Zone. However, their movement was oftentimes restricted by both sides. The JMT refereed the issue at various Ceasefire Joint Military Committee meetings and the CJMC had been regularly referred to CPC. Nevertheless, the CPC could not resolve the dispute.¹
